This book is part of my 2015 reading challenge
This is the first book I read written by the Pulitzer prize winner Paul Harding.
Reading this book is like going out on the lake with a rowing boat – it’s a great and romantic idea until it’s not. There are moments on the rowing boat where you appreciate the scenery for example, but you quickly realize that it is basically the same wherever you look. And when you try to get back to shore it takes much longer time than you thought. That is the exact same feeling I had while reading Tinkers. There are some beautiful parts in this book, but most of the time I was confused as a reader.
